Komodo OpenLab is a research and development lab specializing in the creation of custom communication and assistive technologies.

Google Summer of Code

Starting in 2011, Komodo will be working with the Inclusive Design Institute (IDI) in the ongoing development of two projects: Tekla (started with GSoC 2010) & tagin!. The goal of the IDI is to ensure that information and communication technologies are designed to be accessible and usable by the full range of human diversity from the very beginning. This is fully in line with the goals of Komodo OpenLab so we are very excited about the chance to work with the IDI!
